Bathroom dresser
These old summer "camps" in Maine are adorable, but they generally don't have any closets so storage can be a problem. Therefore, you will find dressers in almost every room of the house. This old dresser in our bathroom needed a makeover. Sorry, I didn't take a "before" picture, but it was previously painted a greenish color. I painted the frame and the knobs with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Chateau Grey. For the drawers, I used the same color but added some Old White to lighten it a bit. I added a coat of Annie Sloan clear wax, buffed it, then lightly sanded the frame and went over it with a little of the Annie Sloan dark wax. I finished it with another coat of the clear wax. I love the way it turned out and hubby is happy we can put our things back into the dresser!

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've worked on a project. We arrived in Maine the end of June and I've been so busy enjoying myself with other things I just got away from it for a bit. Every morning I put my coffee on this little table and look out at the water while I wake up. I loved this lines of the table, but it needed something to make it stand out. Two coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg Blue and two coats of Annie Sloan Clear Wax and ... WaLa! Now I have a beautiful little table next to me when I'm gazing out at the water!
